We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Computing and IT to join our expanding team.
It is an exciting time to join THC
Located in the heart of the Thames Valley and with strong links to some of the biggest technology companies in the UK, we are the obvious choice to be leading the way with the new Digital Support T Level. To support this growth, we are investing heavily in our facilities and in our teaching team.
You will be joining a very experienced and supportive team, so we are interested in talking to you if you are a recent graduate or an experienced teacher. What's more important to us, is that you have a passion for IT, love teaching and share our values.
Essential Criteria
Teaching qualification (or working towards a full teaching qualification)
Degree in the relevant field or substantial experience
Commitment to active and student-centred learning
Commitment to keeping up-to-date with educational developments affecting the work of the College
Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
Well-developed organisational skills
The work collaboratively with a committed team of teachers and support staff
Terms of Employment
Tenure of post : Permanent, Term Time Only, Variable Contract
Hours of work: 0.8 - 1 FTE
Start Date: 1st September 2023
Annual leave: 66 days per leave year (from 1 September to 31 August) (pro-rated for part time)
Salary : The salary will be on the Henley College Teachers’ Spine from £24,821.00 up to £41,516.00 per annum (pro-rated for part time)
