Aspiring Teacher
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September term of 2023
Salary: £75.00 – £95.00 per day

We are keen to hear from Graduates who are looking to complete a teacher training programme in the future. Working with GSL Education will offer you:

• Paid classroom experience with competitive daily rates of pay from £75.00 to £95.00.
• Invaluable school-based experience, with part-time or full-time hours available.
• The opportunity to work in different capacities in school to expand your knowledge of working in the education sector.
• A confidence boost to apply for a teacher training programme, knowing you have the experience and skills needed to become a successful teacher.

Through GSL Education, you will be offered opportunities to work as a:

• Teaching Assistant– supporting the learning of primary pupils, in-line with the national curriculum.
• SEN Teaching Assistant– supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Cover Supervisor– covering the absence of teachers, gaining classroom management experience.
• Tutor– planning and delivering lessons for pupils on a 1:1 basis, in your specialist subject area.
