Job description
Chalk Education are working alongside an alternative provision based in Bury to recruit a Teacher- General Education/PSHE to start in September. This role has the opportunity to become permanent.
In this provision all learners have an EHCP and are receiving medical care. The centre prides itself on increasing the learners’ confidence and self-belief and provides a holistic approach to education, by preparing pupils for all the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
This vacancy is for a KS3/KS4 teacher, post 16 experience would also be desirable.
The ideal candidate would be suitably experienced in supporting young people with SEMH needs.
The curriculum is delivered in a flexible but structured approach.
Must have
· SEND experience – specifically SEMH
· Good literacy and numeracy skills with knowledge across the curriculum.
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of the national curriculum
· Behaviour management experience

Salary: £100.00-£160.00 per day
