Teacher for Deaf and Hearing Impaired pupils
Salary: TSAT Range £17,290 - £26,581 (FTE £28,817 - £44,302
(SEN allowance available depending upon experience)
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.6 contract)
All Faiths Children’s Academy have an exciting vacancy for a dynamic and inspirational Classroom Teacher to join our Special Resource Provision team, Tree Tops, teaching Deaf and Hearing Impaired pupils. The successful candidate will be a qualified primary teacher with three years teaching experience. They will be willing to learn from our friendly and dedicated Tree Tops Team, utilising the specialist knowledge within the team to ensure their practice is a good as it possibly can be, reflecting upon their own practice and acting on feedback as appropriate. Inclusion will be at the heart of their practice, with high expectations for all our pupils.
The successful candidate will also take part in meetings and work with parents, external agencies and professionals. They will contribute towards the Annual Review documentation as necessary.
Applications are invited from candidates who already hold a level 2 BSL qualification or have a commitment to acquire it. The Trust will fund training for the successful candidate to undertake the two year course to train as a qualified teacher of the Deaf.
