Tea Room Manager
The View Tea Room, Leisure Park, Osea, Goldhanger Road, Heybridge, Maldon CM9 4SA
From £22,500 + tips and profit based annual bonus
Working hours: 40 hours per week (a combination of weekdays and weekends)

Wilkin & Sons Ltd boast 10 tea rooms and a jam shop across Essex and Suffolk. We are now looking to recruit for a Full Time Manager in our Heybridge Basin based tea room. We are seeking those that are able to cover a combination of weekdays and weekends.

We are ideally seeking someone with previous manager experience within a hospitality setting so they can hit the ground running.
We are looking for great people to join us to uphold our high standards of exceptional service, ensuring our dining customers have a pleasant and comfortable experience. Our team members are role models for outstanding service and make each customer feel valued, whether they are visiting the tea room for the first or the twentieth time.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Maintain all kitchen area to EHO standards (maintaining a 5 star EHO rating)
- Building a strong team whilst helping, driving, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets
- Stock ordering, waste management, stock counts, booking in and rotation
- Ensuring you and the team have ownership of every customers experience, exceeding their expectations
- Completing administration duties promptly including; payroll, emails, invoices and other paperwork
- Ensuring staff are equipped with appropriate PPE
- Adhering to legal and company policies
- Handling customer complaints, issues, feedback and questions
Requirements:
- That you possess excellent people skills for a professional and positive approach
- Previous managerial experience in a hospitality setting including leadership skills, encouragement, supporting and listening to the team
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- A sharp eye for detail
- A positive attitude
- Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
