Job description
We are Galloways, the fastest growing accountancy firm in Sussex, with multiple offices looking after thousands of businesses and individuals across the county, providing the full array of specialist accountancy, taxation, payroll, advisory and financial planning services.
We are looking for a Tax Assistant to join our Corporation Tax team, primarily to be based in Brighton but we are happy to facilitate a different location if necessary.
This role is full time, on a permanent basis, with a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Although this is advertised as a full-time vacancy, we are flexible and would consider anyone who would prefer to work part-time for this role.
About the role
Following a period of continued rapid growth, Galloways are now seeking to expand on its Corporation Tax service line. The role will consist of:
- Providing advice and guidance, internally and to clients, regarding the ongoing corporation tax compliance cycle.
- Building and continually developing excellent, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Supporting the team with tax advisory activities.
The role can be shaped around your individual experience and skillset.
About you
Our ideal candidate for this role will:
- Working towards qualification in ATT or CTA (Galloways will continue to support successful candidates through their qualifications)
- Demonstrable experience in corporation tax compliance
- Aptitude for delivering excellent customer service
- Approachable, with an ability to build strong working relationships
