About the role
This role may include elements of corporation tax, personal tax, or both.
As part of your role as a Corporate Tax Associate, you will predominantly be working in our corporation tax compliance team and will provide assistance as needed on advisory projects. We would expect you to gain experience in dealing with all corporation tax compliance matters on a range of clients. As an integral and valued member of the team you will be expected to form and build long term relationships with new and existing clients to assist them in achieving their objectives.
As part of your role as a Personal Tax Associate, you will provide assistance with the preparation of Self Assessment and income expenditure statements for clients and also assist your colleagues with obtaining information for the completion of accounts and tax returns. As well as providing tax administration, you will also be communicating with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of taxation.

Qualification
We have created a first-class training and development programme and, by starting your career at Azets, in addition to the comprehensive on the job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete a professional qualification, including college and/or study days, mentoring and a designated buddy.
We offer a range of different qualification pathways at Azets which are determined by the role you are applying for. The qualification that will be undertaken for this position will be ATT.

Application Requirements
To get the job that you’ll loveyou will:
- Need the right to work in the UK from your start date
- Level 4 or above in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
- Minimum 96 UCAS points or equivalent
- Please note, this role is not suitable if you already hold or are currently studying an undergraduate degree
