Job description
You will be assisting the Group Divisional Management Accountant with the accounts for 8 (Manufacturing) companies within the Group, 3 within the UK with a growing turnover of c.£45m plus 5 subsidiary overseas companies with c.£20m turnover also growing. In addition, you will take sole responsibility for the Management Accounts for one of the UK businesses which will take c.20% of your time.
Supporting the Group Divisional Management Accountant in analysing and interrogating the Group Accounts based in the Accounts office HQ in the Stoke /Newcastle Under Lyme area, you will also benefit from some variety in the role spending typically one day per week on site to do the Management Accounts at one at one of the subsidiary businesses which you will have personal responsibility for.
You will need to be a Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA), with (ideally) some Industrial/Manufacturing experience but not essential. Due to the hands-on nature of the role, you will need to be in the ST5 HQ 4 days per week and one day per week at the site just over the Derbyshire Border which is a c.35-minute drive.
