Come and join our exciting Tales of Tea team that is located in the stunning newly renovated Undercroft of St Mary’s Guild hall which is located in Coventry city’s historic Cathedral Quarter, astonishingly escaped bombing raids in the Second World War.
We are part of No Ordinary Hospitality Management that have several sites across the UK including the old Cistercian Abbey ; Coombe Abbey Hotel is located on a beautiful country park. We serve fantastic quality food, delivering great value and personable service in the city centre with our own individual character and style. Although taking orders and serving food is of course an important part of the job, this role entails so much more. You are integral to the restaurant when it comes to delivering amazing customer service for our guests, which means you can make one of the biggest impressions and help make our guests feel welcome and at home. You will have the opportunity to make someone’s day – every day. Your primary objective is to create a fantastic and memorable dining experience for all our guests leaving them to want to come back again.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual that will share the true passion of the ethos of No Ordinary Hospitality Management to help us deliver the best customer service. This will include restaurant work and shift patterns may vary including evening shifts. Experience is desired but not essential as training will be given and we develop individuals to be the best they can be and help them along their career paths but personality and enthusiasm is a must.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS WAITING STAFF YOU'LL...
· Must be able to work well individually and in a team
- The ability to work quick and calmly under pressure
- A passion to engage with guests and deliver exceptional customer service
- The ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holiday
- Greet, serve and look after our guests so they go home happy
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Work with our team to create a friendly atmosphere our guests will love
- Be a champion of brand standards
- Ensure you have great menu knowledge, making recommendations to our guests
- Ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant
- To ensure the restaurant is impeccably set and that service throughout is faultless.
- Taking guest orders and delivering food and beverages
Schedule:
- 8 hour shifts
- Weekend work
- Evening shifts Thursday – Saturday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week
