Talent Sourcer and Administrator (Remote) Remote

PiC Consulting
Full Time Remote 26000 - 30000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Due to recent movements, we are currently looking for a Talent Resourcer and Administrator here at PiC – if you are energised by connecting with people, have an eye for talent, and possess excellent organisational skills, this might be the perfect role for you.

Overview

Partners in Change (“PiC”) is a growing change consultancy whose mission is simple: to provide flexible, value-adding support to organisations of all shapes and sizes in their delivery of complex change. From the start we’ve delivered great work for our clients, attracting excellent feedback.

We continue to face into growing demand for our support, with three drivers very evident: the exceptional blend of experience and quality our delivery partners bring; a flexible delivery and commercial model that offers great value and affordability that is a differentiator in the market; and the unique way we build mutually beneficial partnerships with our customers and delivery partners.

With People at the heart of our decision making, we are now expanding our internal capabilities and have an urgent requirement for additional support to search for and attract talent that will help to lead and build our business and deliver our services. This in-house service collaborates with the PiC Business Development and Leadership team to understand the capabilities required across the business, manage candidate sourcing and identification, and attract and assess potential of talent. Alongside this, the role will also have a focus on managing ongoing relationships with our talent pool to maximise our ability to support client demand for our services.

The role will require an individual to have some knowledge of most aspects of talent acquisition, ideally in a Business Consulting environment, and will give the opportunity to develop and learn about all operational aspects of Partners in Change and also move towards a relevant professional qualification. We would also be interested in people who, in addition, have experience around management and maintenance of a vibrant network or community of practitioners.

The role will report into the Talent Acquisition Lead.

What will you be doing?

  • Working closely with the Talent Acquisition lead and Leadership team to support workforce and resourcing strategies.
  • Supporting the talent acquisition activity for employed and associate opportunities across the requirement life cycle, including sourcing, attraction, screening, and selection.
  • Maintaining effective communications and working relationships with candidates, the internal team and resourcing partners.
  • Working closely with key points of contacts within the Leadership team to manage the candidates’ experience.
  • Onboarding candidates into our PiC Slack community and building and maintaining relationships with community members.
  • Taking responsibility for the accurate and timely input of data, ensuring all relevant databases are up to date to inform decision making.
  • Making recommendations on initiatives that could improve our service and working cooperatively with colleagues to understand the capacity and capability required to deliver PiC’s services and to plan for their future recruitment needs.
  • Developing a practical understanding of resource market conditions to support planning and decision making in the business.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of our end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Inputting weekly and monthly data and contributing to progress reports.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of recruitment and community event campaigns.
  • Bringing our brand to life in each and every interaction with prospective and retained talent, and our talent network.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least one year's experience of internal recruitment/talent acquisition, ideally in Senior/ Executive Search acquisition although this is not essential.
  • Experience of working with ATS and other online platforms such as Vincere, Bullhorn.
  • Solid understanding of diversity and how it impacts and connects with resourcing.
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate through a variety of different channels and be the face of PiC to candidates and the liaison point between all parties throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strong listening skills to understand the needs of the business and our clients, and to hear what the candidates can offer.
  • Appropriate experience, analytical skills, and judgement to support the process of screening and selection of candidates, helping to reduce the risk of ‘mishires’.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (MS-Outlook, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Teams).
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • We are currently working remotely. This role will occasionally require you to travel to meet line managers in the north-west area and to support national team events as required.
  • Northwest home based with some travel as shown above.

The style and attributes you will need:

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude that fuels your interactions with both candidates and colleagues.
  • Natural curiosity to be able to learn as much as possible about a candidate (beyond what’s written on an application or CV).
  • Open minded, inquisitive and resourceful to identify and try new ways and channels to find new and different candidates.
  • A patient, empathetic and professional approach to candidates.
  • A self-starter, someone who is proactive and can remain self-motivated, work under own initiative with minimal supervision while working remotely but knows when to ask for guidance.
  • Reliability and conscientiousness: ultimately ensuring records are accurate, processes are followed meticulously and tasks are successfully completed to plan.
  • Enthusiasm - for the role and for PiC’s ambition and direction.
  • Being a strong team player – you thrive in a collaborative environment, working with others, readily offering support to team members when needed and looking for the bigger picture.
  • Versatility and adaptability: happy to support a range of requirements simultaneously, prioritising effectively as required and to look to develop the skills to do so.

What we offer:

  • Salary in the region of £26-30K dependent on experience.
  • Pension contribution of 4%.
  • Private Healthcare.
  • 25 days’ paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
  • Permanent, full-time.
  • Location - Remote working, though ideally based in the North-west or North-east of England as there will be a requirement to attend organised working sessions at PiC HQ, or elsewhere.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills in sourcing and resourcing, and more generally regarding consultancy and business change.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please send you CV by COP Friday 8th September 2023.

Interviews will take place between the 11th and 26th September. If there is any change to this schedule, we will let candidates know.
