We’ll be looking for you to drive world-class talent and performance management practices across our Technology Units (Digital and Networks) to enable colleagues to change rapidly, innovate and support our BT-wide colleagues to deliver world class products and services for BT.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of the talent and performance strategy. Ensuring solid practices and processes are in place.
  • Deliver end to end Talent and Performance management leadership sessions driving continuous improvement with action orientation
  • Provide data analysis and insight into Talent and Performance Management metrics; going beyond historical data and looking for predictive analytics
  • Make recommendations for impactful Talent development making the best use of BT-wide solutions and other opportunities e.g. BT’s community programmes
  • Help to design and deliver Talent Attraction campaigns working with Resourcing and Exec Hiring
  • Train and coach HRBPs to deliver better Talent and Performance Management outcomes at all levels of BT
  • Collaborate and work across HR to deliver and become trusted delivery partners with Customer Facing Units, Internal communications and other BT Centre of Excellence

Skills required

  • Data analysis and ability to form insights to drive better people and strategic decision making
  • Strategic Thinking and technology awareness, including Digital, to understand and relate to the nature of the customer environment
  • Continuous improvement skills to identify better ways of working
  • Collaborative working and stakeholder engagement and management; build high levels of trust at all levels and able to challenge the status quo
  • Communication skills – both written and oral - to clearly illustrate What, Why and How
  • Influencing skills with the courage and ability to challenge senior leaders
  • Ability to work at pace in a structured and methodical way. Project methodology is an advantage to ensure initiatives are well-planned and successfully implemented
  • Excellent data presentation skills to succinctly and impactfully portray message(s)/findings to support business decisions
  • Excellent digital skills, especially Excel, to harness the technology to your benefit with your audience
