The Role Objective

As a GroupM Talent Business Partner (TBP) you will be aligned to one or more of the GroupM operating companies and take ownership for the talent strategy, candidate experience and hiring process excellence for that area(s). You will be responsible for ensuring the creation, execution and management of the strategic hiring plan that includes business partnering, initiatives around diversity and inclusion, candidate experience and selection methods across your network, as well as working with the TA delivery team on challenges and blockers to hiring.

Through your insights, scenario planning, predictive analysis and strategic approach you will partner with the Talent Acquisition delivery team, internal HR leaders and Resource Management groups in the UK to ensure that each business area(s) delivers on its hiring plan.

This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of subject matter expertise in business partnering, defining and managing recruitment strategy, diversity hiring, stakeholder management and workforce planning however plays a critical part as an active member of the GroupM TA team . The role effectively manages all requisitions from approval stage, so they are directed to the relevant talent delivery team to operationally carry out the hiring.

Responsibilities

The TBP leads recruiting effort with a focus on driving accountability, shaping recruitment strategies to increase hiring velocity and talent team resource alignment.

  • Take the lead to support your designated operating company to anticipate future capability and capacity requirements and advise on associated risks and initiatives.
  • You’ll work closely with HR leaders on effective implementation of their specific employer value propositions in line with wider diversity and inclusion efforts to increase brand awareness.
  • Working in partnership to grow talent pipelines to meet both current and future requirements. Supporting the business to continue being an employer of choice along with identifying and developing competitive talent attraction solutions.
  • This role manages all recruitment channels and will work with the business to identify the most appropriate ways to deliver the agree hiring plan. Then work proactively with the TA delivery team to attract and engage the best people and the best diverse talent across all management layers and functions.
  • Advocate for hiring manager journey enhancement. Eg training etc
  • The position may also lead on mid-senior level hiring when capacity warrants, to ensure the business can access the best diverse leadership talent that enables our business to achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Ongoing reporting of performance dashboards on strategy execution and hiring performance. Working with Op Co leadership and the Director of Talent Acquisition in making necessary shifts in resource allocation in order to accommodate any changing resourcing requirements and recruitment needs.
  • As a member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team you will also manage improvement projects to ensure that the Talent Acquisition function continues to learn, develop and grow its capabilities and vision to execute world class delivery.
  • Using market data and insights to education and provide data to the business.


Required Experience

  • In-depth experience in a strategic recruitment business partnering role; being able to demonstrate adding value through continuous improvement initiatives and strategies.
  • Solid stakeholder leadership experience, working with senior stakeholders to understand vision, define hiring strategy and most importantly delivery against plan.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Strong communications and organizational skills.
  • Good judgment and presence with the ability to interface effectively with and advise senior managers.
  • Strong consultative and solution management skills to be the conduit between the business and the talent delivery team.
  • Demonstrated experience using market intelligence to drive continuous improvement and influence business decisions.
