Our new role:
Due to continued growth, Woodgate & Clark has an exciting newly created opportunity for a Talent Acquisition and Training Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. Hybrid working would be preferred for the training element of our role, however you can be home based if you are willing to occasionally travel to our Head Office in Kent.

With guidance from our Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll support our direct resourcing model in championing Woodgate and Clark as an employer of choice within the candidate market. This will involve managing the lifecycle of candidates to ensure the best possible candidate journey and experience is received throughout our recruitment and on boarding process.
Once our new employee journey begins, you’ll support our Learning and Development strategy by coordinating and evaluating the success of our training events, designed to support the continuous professional development of our colleagues across the business.

What you’ll be doing:
- Management and administration of candidate applications throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring compliance of the recruitment process and escalating any concerns
- Managing direct candidate referrals, enquiries and on boarding calls
- Posting and managing vacancy adverts, ensuring compliance with legislation
- Liaising with Hiring Managers at candidate shortlist stage to confirm outcome of decision, relaying outcomes to candidates in a timely manner
- Coordinate booking and confirmation of interviews, with candidates and hiring managers
- Ongoing development of candidate talent pool for future roles
- Support the HR Administrator with the organisation of inductions
- Organising the logistics of our online and classroom-based training events
- Booking venues within specified budget and location
- Compiling training agendas, invitations, attendance confirmations and accommodation requests
- Capturing delegate feedback via post event evaluations, producing meaningful MI of results
- Support the wider HR team with general administration, when required
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a people focussed, detail orientated, HR candidate who is confident in working autonomously and as part of a team, in addition to:
- Previous HR, Talent Acquisition or In-house recruitment experience relevant to the role and our industry is essential for the role
- Ability to influence candidates and key stakeholders
- Manage priorities and deadlines to balance both elements of the role
- Knowledge and experience of Employment Law, in particular the Equality Act 2010
- Honesty and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Relevant HR and/or Recruitment qualifications (CIPD/REC) desirable but not essential
- Proactive – responding to daily workloads as dictated by role requirements
- Ability to work on own initiative and co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently
- Effective time management skills, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skill with the ability to be able to problem solve
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and other HR or Recruitment software
