FBC was a match made in heaven, with two of the top UK biscuits manufacturers (Burton's Biscuits and Fox's Biscuits) coming together to create one unique, integrated company.
We are home to famous iconic brands, including Maryland, Fox's, Jammie Dodger & Rocky, to name just a few. We bake our incredible biscuits at eight bakeries across the UK, located at Ilse of Arran, Livingston, Blackpool, Llantarnam, Edinburgh, Kirkham, Batley & Dorset. We also have offices for our supporting services in St Albans, Liverpool and Moreton. Together, we employ circa 5,000 amazing employees across all our locations.

What does your typical day look like?
This is a great opportunity to be a part of the Talent Acquisition team with FBC UK . Talent acquisition is a key focus and with continuous improvements and the support we work together to provide a world class experience to our candidates and stakeholders. The Talent acquisition function also incorporates employer branding, onboarding and relationship management.
This role will be based in St Albans/London NW on a hybrid work pattern.
Travel to 8 sites and University partner sites is required throughout the UK
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
- Experience of talent attraction and recruitment methodologies and sound understanding of the recruitment life cycle.
- Preparing and placing effective advertisements , ensuring they encourage diversity of applications.
- Demonstratable experience of competency based interviewing and shortlisting candidates.
- Digitally savvy and experience in pro-active and direct candidate sourcing using a variety of channels, tools and methods including ATS.
- High appreciation of dealing with sensitive/confidential information and GDPR legislation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use research and data to measure and improve efficiencies and provide regular updates to the team.
- A DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) ambassador at heart and a strong work ethic.
