Location – Stamford Bridge (Primarily) with travel to Cobham

Hours – 35 hours per week (5 of 7 days)

What We’re Looking For:
We are currently looking for a In-house Recruiter to support our fast paced and ever evolving in-house Talent function at Chelsea FC. Due to ongoing investment and development of the HR function, this integral role offers a successful candidate the opportunity to drive an ambitious talent agenda across 360 recruitment and own a number of Talent related projects with a business-wide impact.
Brief description and duties:
- Partner with the business on both planned growth and replacement-based recruitment
- Drive and engage a strong pipeline of talent across the business and create targeted talent pools using innovative sourcing strategies.
- Screen prospective candidates whilst presenting a premium image of Chelsea FC and a positive candidate experience.
- Liaise and build meaningful relationships with internal managers.
- Work alongside HRBP’s to challenge hiring managers and candidates around requirements and experience.
- Building up an in-depth knowledge of a variety of different areas of the business in order to totally understand the exact requirements of each role that you are resourcing (for e.g. being part of the interview panel)
- Accurate and timely input of relevant data into Recruitment Applicant Tracking System
- Assist with key initiatives and relevant projects (for e.g. on boarding of a developing ATS system, Career page, career fairs)
- Organising and scheduling interviews when required.
- Advise the business on best approaches to attract talent through new and creative methods.
- Ensure the correct paperwork is received from Hiring Managers prior to advertising vacancies, ensure manager briefings take place for each role hire.
- Work closely with the head of talent to ensure we are advertising on the best websites and using the most suitable recruitment agencies where necessary.
- Partner closely with the HR administration, L&D and Payroll teams when on boarding new starters and managing new recruits.
- Partner with the HR business partnering team to manage challenging situations with candidate and or managers.
- Recruitment in line with Equality Act 2010 and safeguarding procedures
- Manage Applicant information in line with the GDPR guidelines.
- Align their activities to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) outcomes.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:
- A seasoned recruitment professional accustomed to working proactively to deliver exceptional talent in a range of unique job openings.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant in-house client facing resourcing experience, working at a similar level.
- Up to date experience of market mapping and talent pipelining.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience within recruiting marketing, creative and commercial roles on an internal function
- Volume recruitment experience recruiting across corporate or blue-chip functions.
- Experience of improving ATS / in-house systems
Skills and Behaviours:
- Able to make recommendations for effective assessment and recruitment techniques/approaches based on business need.
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships across Talent, HR and the wider business
- Ability to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince and persuade and influence stakeholders of all levels.
- Can demonstrate an approach to work that demonstrates commitment and motivation to deliver at a high standard.
