We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor for Executive Recruitment. The successful candidate will lead on the administrative tasks and project coordination which enable the Executive Recruitment function to deliver high quality, diverse hires in to the BBC across Public Services.
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will be a trusted partner working in partnership with Executive Recruitment Leads and wider Talent Acquisition team to support effective, high quality talent acquisition processes and solutions. They will be responsible for providing support across all stages of the Executive Recruitment lifecycle, with a focus on enhanced customer and candidate experience.
Main ResponsibilitiesSupporting the deployment of Executive Recruitment processes and initiatives across BBC Public Services., they will work with Executive Recruitment Leads to facilitate seamless candidate experience and engagement. As well as working with Executive Recruitment Leads and Senior Stakeholders to organise and arrange assessment and selection activities.
Delivering seamless onboarding experiences in partnership with wider HR Services colleagues, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will also provide ad-hoc administrative support as directed to support in the delivery of Talent Acquisition activities and prepare documents, presentations and other material as required.
They will be expected to contribute to a high performance and inclusive team culture and ensure delivery against service level agreements and KPIs to enhance the reputation of the BBC Talent Acquisition function through excellent service and professionalism.
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will contribute to a culture of service excellence and role-modelling of BBC Values and Behaviours, they will work collaboratively with colleagues within HR and the HR Shared Service Centre to deliver high quality service.
They will also be responsible for supporting and enabling the wider Talent Acquisition community where appropriate.
Are you the right candidate?The ideal candidate will have relevant in-house recruitment experience gained in large complex corporate settings with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships).
They will have experience of providing complex operational or administrative support or project management within a recruitment environment.
They will be used to working with limited supervision demonstrating a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach and be able to assume responsibility for discrete areas of work and able to use judgement based on previous experience and precedent to provide the best outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to play a key role in delivering quality and value for all audiences who embrace and advocate for diversity and inclusion in culture and business needs.
Demonstrating a willingness and ability to learn from experience and subsequently apply that learning to perform successfully, they will be highly credible and have experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.
They will understand how to work effectively in a team to deliver and be capable of maintaining personal effectiveness by managing their own emotions in the face of pressure, setbacks or when dealing with provocative situations. They will be able to demonstrate an approach to work that is characterised by commitment and motivation.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; they will be confident in dealing with the full range of business users, via multiple communication channels who understand how to handle, resolve and escalate enquiries; passes on information promptly.
The ideal candidate will be driven to achieve the right result despite challenging internal / external circumstances and be able to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities.
Ready and able to take the initiative and originate action, they will be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made.
The ideal candidate will be able to use data and analyse information rapidly, making informed judgments and providing advice on the best option to progress in line with established process.
With excellent attention to detail and accuracy they will ensure facts are correct, complete and consistent.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the relevant jurisdictional law, regulation and policy in relation to talent acquisition and have a knowledge of HRIS tools, CRM and applicant tracking systems.
