As the brand expands, we are seeking experienced Travel Experts to craft amazing tailor-made holidays all over Africa, Asia & India. Due to the knowledge required for this role wecan only consider candidates with prior experience at sellingand tailor-making these destinations, or that has incredibleknowledge of these destinations from first hand experience.
Our Africa portfolio currently includes Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
For Asia: Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, China and India, Nepal and Bhutan.
As part of a multi-functional team you will be responsible for maintaining excellent service, completing the journey of a customers booking from start to finish and working closely with our network of contacts in the region of the desired destination.
As a Tailor-made Travel Expert, you will be able to demonstrate the best country and product knowledge in the industry, build relationships and deliver exceptional service.
We are looking for those that are experienced in the travel industry that flourish when rolling up their sleeves and working on detailed bespoke itineraries.
This is a remote opportunity, 37 hours a week on a rota basis. Current working is Monday to Friday 9am -5pm, Saturday 10am- 2pm and Sundays 11am - 5pm. Sunday closed.
The position benefits from home working, a salary of £24,000 (increasing to £26,000 in first year), monthly commission and incredible Fam trips.
Training will be provided which involves a 5 week detailed induction, starting on Monday 27th February.

What youll be doing*
Sales:
- Use destination and product knowledge to maximise all sales opportunities whilst ensuring you keep up to date with all new product.
*
Answer telephone calls, handle video calls and e-mail enquiries from customers (Direct customers, Trade and Kuoni Retail Team)
*
Liaise with our suppliers to source rates, product and booking support for bespoke tailor-made enquiries
*
Provide the best and most comprehensive service possible to all our customers within a virtual contact centre environment.
*
Take responsibility for the customers complete satisfaction with Kuoni, ensuring their expectations are exceeded, whilst retaining Kuoni profit margins.
*
Managing the customer from the beginning of their journey to when they come back and maintain and build repeat business.
*
Contact customers with operational changes and any information needed by the customer prior to travel.
*
Ensure you keep fully up to date with all current marketing campaigns.
*
Ensure you understand and follow the company audit guidelines for discounting and the investigation of comparable competitor pricing versus Kuoni.
*
Ensure you understand and follow the company Health and Safety policy, including support of the checking procedure.
*
Provide the highest standard of service to all customers from all channels of communication. For sales or service on bookings the standard of service should always be exceptional.

Interacting with customers throughout the journey following the Kuoni way to offer consistent service to every customer.
*
Personalising customer documentation ensuring a high level of detail, paying particular attention to spelling and grammar.
*
Sending proposals and confirmations within the turnaround time agreed with the customer.
*
Working as part of a team to hit conversion and sales targets.
*
Handling customer complaints as and when they arise.

Product support:*
- Provide constructive feedback about our product range and support development of new product through attendance at trade shows, training sessions and educational travel.
*
Ensure all colleagues within the specialist team are kept informed of any problems or opportunities relating to our products, competitors and customers, as well as urgent issues inhibiting our ability to sell.

Contribute to, and deliver, expert destination training to colleagues and customer presentations which demonstrate your expertise of the product and sales system
- Support the production of marketing materials including pricing information, product knowledge and competitor analysis.

Expert in Africa, Asia and / or India (First-hand travel experience of visiting the destinations and tailor-making itineraries)

Developed sales skills and proven track record of achieving personal sales targets within a retail travel environment.
