SALARY$25.15 - $30.57 / Hour$4,358.90 - $5,298.38 / MonthPlease note: An additional 5% increase will be effective 7/1/2023This is a multi-discipline classification for use in Technology Services (TS) Division. Under general supervision, incumbents may be assigned to perform a wide variety of duties to support the City’s audio-visual, desktop support, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), infrastructure support, programming or security needs. Assists users, provides instruction, and installs hardware and software. The Technology Systems Technician I is an entry level position. The Technology Systems Technician II is an intermediate level position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Installs, tests, adjusts, and repairs two-way radio base stations, mobile radios, portable radios, and other communications equipment; Installs network and communications cabling; Makes field and shop test of communications equipment; Installs and repairs alarms, security cameras, electronic access control, and other related equipment; Installs, maintains, and performs basic troubleshooting of analog and digital voice equipment and systems.For a Full Job Description, click here.
