The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) - comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and OVO Hydro - is Scotland's premier venue for events, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues, attracting 2.1 million visitors last year.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious IT System Engineer to operate within the IT Team committed to the Company’s strategic business objectives in line with our vision to become the Best Event Campus in Europe.
The IT Systems Engineer will maintain essential IT infrastructure providing advanced problem solving. They will support the IT team, external and internal customers, and clients. The role will also support event delivery and work as part of the Systems Engineering team in the resolution of technology queries and projects.

Customer service will be at the forefront of every customer relationship, customer is defined as colleagues, partners, contractors and every customer and visitor.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Maintain, configure and manage existing IT infrastructure
- Optimise and improve current systems.
- Support and where required lead IT projects
- Act as escalation point for IT support team
- Support technology delivery for wide range of events
- Support and contribute to the SEC technology strategy
Our ideal candidate
Our Technology team work closely together in a busy environment, ensuring that all expectations are exceeded and providing the highest quality service to each event and team member.
Experience in our technology stack (Windows Server, Azure, M365, Hyper-V, LAN/WiFi technologies and cyber security tools) would be a significant advantage.
