About the Role
- Requirements Derivation using next gen DOORS
- Review, advise and approve system test plans and acceptance test documentation
- Assisting with design efforts of Web Based Resource planning Software Applications
- Modelling and Systems design
- Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications
- Manage your time effectively to develop effective solutions to cost and quality targets
- Provide technical input to programme management and commercial staff and support where required in the use of LM and industry tools
- Any additional programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence, and skill set.
The role will not be authorized to provide services to Lockheed Martin, which are directly related to business development, acquisition, or sales efforts for a Lockheed Martin customer or potential customer. Any exception to this rule can only be granted, in advance, by the Lockheed Martin UK Ltd, Havant representative or legal counsel representative.
Contractor/Agency to be responsible for maintaining certifications, accreditations, adequate professional indemnity insurance and training required to perform their role
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Solid Understanding of requirements definition and interface documentation required to support the development and acceptance of solutions.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to communicate technically within the program
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices. (TOGAF, UML/SysML, DOORS NextGen)
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
- Experience with being the technical approver or similar role.
- Ability to analyse technical problems and provide pragmatic solutions
- Proven ability to produce cost effective and technically compliant solutions
- Practical experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
