CV Screen is currently seeking an experienced Systems Developer to join a small and dynamic team based in Hove. Our client's company is growing with a range of exciting new projects on the horizon, they are looking for an experienced Developer to take the reigns in a standalone role.

As a vital member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing application support for the core business systems. This will involve addressing service incidents, handling system change requests, and enhancing the existing product suite.

This is Hybrid working role, 3 days a week will be required in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Application Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to swiftly resolve application issues, ensuring our software solutions remain highly available and perform optimally.
• Development and Enhancement: Utilize your PHP expertise to create new features and enhancements, translating user requirements into remarkable technical solutions.
• System Change Requests: Assess and prioritize system change requests, implementing flawless solutions that enhance functionality without compromising existing features.
• Code Reviews and Documentation: Engage in collaborative code reviews, upholding coding standards and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer.
• Proficiency in PHP and web development frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Exposure to relational databases like MySQL and version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, enabling smooth collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A knack for handling multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced environments.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Golang and Docker, an added advantage.
• Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP) and GitHub would be beneficial.
