For the successful IT Systems Administrator our client is offering:
- Annual salary of up to £33k DOE
- Days based role 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

The role – IT Systems Administrator:
- Administration and configuration of Active Directory, Group Policy, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Office 365, software updates and security
- Day to day management, maintenance, backup and support of the computer IT infrastructure incorporating servers, networking, business and communication systems
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
- Repair and recover from server failures & Co-ordinate and communicate with affected departments.
- Perform ongoing server system performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
- Oversee the Helpdesk to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely fashion providing second level assistance to the IT Support Engineer where required
What our client is looking for in a IT Support Technician:
- Excellent Microsoft Server Operating Systems knowledge
- VMware experience
- TCP/IP networking infrastructure, NAS, switch and VLAN configuration
- MS SQL Server Management
