Job description
1 year assignment with possible extension.
- Requires three or more years of experience in managing and supporting HPE NonStop
 
- Systems Administrator – Level 1
- Execute System management, configuration management, preventative and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring activities.
 - Provide comprehensive NonStop, administration, and operations.
 - Execute tests of new hardware and software.
 - Perform the requirements for off-hour Systems maintenance work.
 - Monitor and support security controls and capabilities in operating systems, layered products, and specialty software to achieve security goals.
 - Install and configure NonStop.
 - Assist business users and systems engineers with the setup, installation, and testing of their applications.
 - Interface with users and systems engineers to resolve technical and user problems.
 - Monitor and ensure success on backup activity.
 - Monitor and troubleshoot application delivery platforms (e.g., Citrix, 0365, and Horizon)
 
 - Skills/Certification requirements
- HPE NonStop
 - System Administrator with SRE types of skills, not junior or learning.
 - TACL programming, base24 db skills.
 - Systems Administrator – Level 1
- BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
 - Three or more years of experience in managing and supporting NonStop.
 - Three or more years of experience in configuring and managing Storage Subsystems.
 - Understanding of standard System Administration tools and practices.
 - Knowledge of industry standards.
 - Strong NonStop administration skills.
 - Strong communication skills (written and oral.)
