Network and Systems Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure on-site school IT systems are ready to meet the needs of the staff and pupils - by implementing and maintaining the servers, network, academic software installations and other infrastructure to a high performing state as part of a skilled IT Support team.
You will be responsible for installing, upgrading and maintaining the Windows servers and their applications, while managing switches and the WiFi system to ensure system reliability, availability, and security.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable experience of working in a similar environment with experience in Microsoft Windows Server systems and a strong understanding of VLANs, switches and TCP/IP addressing. They should have excellent Customer Service ethos and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
