Our client is a RCVS accredited small animal practice located in the spectacular town of Airdrie in North Lanarkshire. With excellent transport links to the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and its family friendly feel, Airdrie is a lovely place to live.
Our client has been established in the area since 2012 and has built up a large and loyal client base. They are looking for a forward thinking and ambitious full time Head Veterinary Nurse to join their welcoming and enthusiastic veterinary team comprising of 2 Vets, 4 RVN’s, 5 CCA’s and a practice manager.
The practice is well-equipped with all the usual toys including an in-house laboratory, echocardiolo-gy, digital x-ray, haematology, x-ray and ultrasound, separate cat and dog wards and much more.
The role will involve overseeing the nurse team, organising staff rotas, holidays, diary manage-ment, nurse appraisals, assisting tin the daily running of the practice, general admin duties and general nursing duties.
The Role:
- Full Time role
- Flexible hours – average 35 – 39 hours per week
- 1:4 Saturdays (9am – 12pm)
- No OOH
