Your mission
The Role
As an organisation we are expanding and we need a curious and ambitious professional to help administer and plan all aspects of our growing set of information technology systems. Currently, a major project for us is the attainment of ‘Information and security management’ ISO27001. The role will involve assisting the CTO in all matters of day to day administration of laptop, cloud infrastructure and cloud applications, maintenance of companywide cyber security – essential for the company to gain and keep the trust of customers - and delivery of projects such as the attainment of ISO 27001.
The role will include working with staff across all departments, functioning as an administrator of all systems and ensuring our team of consultants, developers and engineers have secure access to the appropriate tools.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in maintaining our existing cyber security accreditations- Work with the CTO to implement new IT standards, such as the cyber security and data privacy protection measures for ‘Information and security management’ ISO27001
- Manage AWS infrastructure which hosts our internal and customer facing systems
- Atlassian and other cloud administration
- Account administration with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Build Mac OS and Windows laptops for new starters
- Technical support for internal staff
- Manage and provide support for the organisation’s laptop estate
- Helping the CTO to plan and implement new systems and infrastructure.
Your profile
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential
Nice to have
Experience of using both Windows and MacOS operating systems (additionally Linux would be beneficial)
Experience of Mobile Device Management (MDM) ideally with Microsoft Intune and JamfPro
Cyber Security awareness, (preferably experience of working with Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001)
A relevant and strong degree
Network knowledge to include TCP, VPNs, Firewalls, Reverse Proxies (ideally within AWS or Azure)
Experience of Atlassian Jira and Service Desk as user or administrator
AWS accredited
Experience of Word press plugin maintenance and upgrades
Experience using a range of programming languages and operating systems, including Java, Python, SQL, Windows and Linux, or similar
ITIL experience
