Job description
The Web Systems Manager and Developer will provide leadership and management of the Association`s web systems and related operations managing risk and opportunity and ensuring continuity of Association operational activity.
A key focus of the role is to effectively manage and maintain and develop web services, systems and integrations. You will be the primary technical specialist in web services, although you will also provide support other WEA systems such as CRM, Intranet etc..
You will need to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers and work in partnership to deliver improved web services.
You will manage the design, structuring and maintenance of web systems and supporting activities and providing oversight of web application security provision to maintain our cyber essentials plus certification.
You will be required to contribute to the development and implementation of the ICT strategy, plans and policies. As well as developing procedures and associated implementation, testing and training plans for web applications and database administration, security and data management.
Designing and implementing short and long term plans to ensure the ICT web applications meet existing and future capacity and capability requirements. Introducing automation to streamline processes.
Effectively manage web software suppliers and act as the Association`s point of contact for training, development, user-specific needs and licensing.
Ensure close communication with colleagues in other teams and develop packages of support for front-line staff, tutors, branches and volunteers to support and improve marketing, communications, administration and training and development in the heart of the Association`s local communities.

About you:
As the Web Systems Manager and Developer, you should:
- Be educated to degree level or equivalent experience;
- Have PRINCE 2 or other Project Management frameworks or equivalent experience;
- A SQL DB administration qualification or equivalent experience;
- VB, .net or C# professional qualification or equivalent experience;
- Have in depth experience of using data processing systems;
- Experience of maintaining, developing and configuring Websites;
- Have Drupal or Wordpress development experience;
- Have Angular/PHP/C#/.net experience;
- Powershell or other scripting experience;
- Integration experience including RESTful API, SOAP APIs, 3 layer architecture model, proxies.
