We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support assigned client accounts. You must be committed to fantastic customer service, enjoy face to face client engagement while evangelizing IT solutions and best practices focused on delivering better business outcomes for our clients.
Work is performed remotely, in office and at client locations. You must reside within reasonable travel distance to assigned accounts throughout the SF Bay Area.
Job Profile -
For your Assigned Clients:
- Build rapport with client technical contacts and user base, through periodic on-site and remote engagement.
- Participate in client on-boarding process.
- Manage client IT systems, in accordance with MicroMenders ‘Tier5’ support framework.
- Conduct regular reviews of client IT incidents, trends and assets. Evaluate IT alignment with established best practices and client business goals. Provide performance assessment and recommendations internally, to other members of client management teams.
- Assure accuracy and clarity of client systems documentation.
- Collaborate with our Consulting Team during project design and implementation.
As Required:
- Provide escalation and administrative support for client issue as may be assigned.
- Participate within project assignments, as required.
- Interact with a wide range of clients across many businesses and industries.
- Work as part of our team of Field Engineers, Service Desk staff, Consultants and Account Managers to provide enterprise-class IT services.
- Assist VCIO with preparation and review of reports and documentation in advance of Client Business Review process
Qualifications -
Self-motivated with time management skills
Quick learner, good problem solving skills
Strong customer service skills
Our ideal candidate has prior experience working within a Consulting or Managed Services Practice environment. We prefer 4+ years’ experience with:
- Microsoft AD/Exchange Administration and Troubleshooting
- Network Troubleshooting (Cisco, SonicWall)
- Backup Management and Troubleshooting (on premise, cloud, hybrid)
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- SQL Admin
- Cloud Solutions
- Previous responsibilities as a technical lead or team supervisor
- Experience working with Network Monitoring tools a plus, as is experience with Mac, Unix and Citrix platforms

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
