We’re looking for a System Accountant to join us in the Central Accounting and Systems team where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of a number of Finance systems.
Leading a small team you’ll be involved in the development and on-going maintenance of a number of applications and templates used in the reporting, data collection and validation of the accounting data used throughout Finance. As the System Accountant you’ll regularly role an important role in the design and implementation of new financial reporting systems and processes.

Ensuring compliance with both internal and external controls
Assisting with the administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM products FCCS & ARCS
Assisting colleagues with issues and answering questions on such things as accounting controls and system usage.
Leading in the submission of packs into SAP BPC and liaison across the UK and Group reporting teams
Managing and developing a high performing team
Supporting the successful implementation of projects
What you’ll bring.
Comprehensive Excel skills, VBA to an advanced level
Knowledge of Oracle FCCS (Finance Consolidation) & ARCS (Account Reconciliation)
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience of using general ledger and finance systems
A working knowledge of Essbase/SmartView
Good knowledge of IFRS, and high-level knowledge of relevance to banking and financial services
ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant or (equivalent) with a strong understanding of accounting and accounting processes

This is a full-time permanent position offering flexible working between hold on the office.
