The role

The South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership is a consortium of partner institutions offering research opportunities to staff and students. It is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to provide postgraduate studentships and training.

What will you be doing?

Based within a small team at the University at Bristol (through hybrid working) you will coordinate the delivery our Diversity, Widening participation and Inclusion activities. You will provide professional and pro-active event and administration support including practical support for students of and applicants to SWWDTP from diverse and widening participation backgrounds. In addition, you will be responsible for marketing to prospective students and stakeholders via social media channels and the DTP website.

You should apply if

The successful applicant will have experience of working within and/or in-depth understanding of inclusion and Widening Participation objectives within Higher Education. They must also have experience of using social media in a professional context including for marketing campaigns, and experience of analysing web and social media impact.

We are looking for a candidate who can multi task over the whole range of activities, prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines within a pressurised environment. You will apply excellent initiative and ability to problem solve to coordinate and deliver successful events and complex projects to a high level of customer satisfaction.
