As a Vehicle Engineer you will be resposible for supporting all Vehicle Engineering activities for multiple programmes for within SVO - supporting progression and delivery of geometric data & Virtual Series by gateway, including key geometry and freeze events.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
RMDV and T&D test planning.- Rigs and Spares planning and coordination.
- Support benchmarking exercises and analysis, including vehicle assessments & target setting
- Support creation of vehicle test plans
- Definition of prototype’s specification in order to deliver DV plan
- Prototype vehicle build support.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Test, development & planning background- Strong working level knowledge of whole vehicle systems engineering and attributes management.
- Knowledge of PCDS, Project and Change Management processes
- Experienced user of RMDV2
- Good knowledge in component to system verification planning and delivery
- Demonstrate good problem solving techniques and ability.
- Experience of specifying, designing and assembling a mule / prototype vehicle and or show vehicle
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
