About the role
As a sustainability graduate at one of our beer packaging sites you’ll play a pivotal role in helping Diageo meet its ambitious sustainability 2030 targets, particularly focusing on water and energy efficiency in the packaging process.
Responsibilities include reporting the site water & energy usage daily, escalating live issues, increasing engagement with sustainability goals and acting as a point of contact between Diageo and the site’s utilities contractor.
You will identify potential process efficiency improvement areas, carry out data collection and analysis to determine the feasibility of proposed improvements and present recommendations and proposals to senior members of the business in terms of potential financial and environmental benefits. You’ll be given the freedom to work on your own projects, supported by a network of dedicated teams who want to see you succeed.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have an engineering-based degree or a Sustainability /Environmental Management degree.
It would be beneficial if you have demonstrable experience in data alalysis. Proactive and structured problem-solving approach with a focus on corrective and preventative action.
