Sustainability and Reporting Analyst
GSK are seeking a Sustainability and Reporting Analyst on a full-time permanent basis. Ideally this role you would be based at GSK House but we will also consider candidates from Ware and Stevenage.
In this global role as the Sustainability and Reporting Analyst you will measure and report on progress towards GSK’s commitment to a net zero, nature positive, healthier planet, with ambitious goals set for 2030 and 2045 across our entire value chain.
You will be data driven but with the ability to develop the narrative used to communicate GSK’s performance in internal and external reports used by GSK’s stakeholders. You will also be exposed to working with senior stakeholders, whilst working cross-functionally. The successful candidate will be expected to bring a proven track record of turning data into insights and have good writing and communication skills.
In this role you will...
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Analyse data and provide insights to enable decision making in our sustainability programmes on carbon and nature
- Prepare the narrative and end of year environmental performance data tables used in GSK’s Annual Report and ESG Performance Report
- Prepare GSK’s submissions for CDP Climate, CDP Water and CDP Forests and other investor reports
- Support the TCFD and other sustainability disclosures in the Annual Report
- Work with business units to understand the business trends that underpin the changes in performance year to year
- Work with internal stakeholders to proactively simplify and improve reporting processes for sustainability
- Review and update the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) documentation annually
- Support the annual environmental data assurance process
- Act as system super-user for environmental sustainability data systems
- Review and update annually carbon emission factors (IEA, UK Govt, Greenhouse Gas Protocol etc) used by GSK
- Drive changes to system platforms to simplify and improve data reporting

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Degree qualified, or equivalent data analyst with proven experience in different areas of the business
- Experience in sustainability, corporate reporting, or similar
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality deliverables to tight deadlines.
- Previous project management experience, with ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong influencing and persuasive abilities
- Business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to translate theory into action.
- Excellent IT skills, including a strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experienced in preparing external sustainability disclosures, including company annual and/or sustainability reports, CDP, DJSI, TCFD etc
- Working knowledge of some of the existing and upcoming sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, TCFD and others
