We are looking for you!! A motivated and good working individual to join our team of a well known Sushi Restaurant in Forest Hill - South London.
You will be primarily responsible for the daily planning, creation and execution of the daily sushi menu, hot/cold dishes and ensuring your kitchen team delivers a consistent and excellent quality of every dish.
We require some exposure to a fast paced environment with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the leader in everything related to sourcing sushi products, fish, vegetables, etc.
- Ensuring good management of stock and proper process when suppliers deliver the food/fish.
- Creating and executing current menu. We welcome new recipe ideas to add to our daily specials.
- Encourage smooth processes in bringing customer and employee satisfaction.
- In charge of the kitchen area, and full control of the kitchen staff reporting to you.
- Creative mindset, pro-active personality and strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine is required.
