Job description
Ability to work and operate independently while being aware of own limitations and know when to consult senior colleague.
Need to show initiative to take responsibilities and make decisions.
Responsible for the continuing care of the patients as designated by consultant staff.
Job plan subjected to change with the agreement of the post holder & the OMFS clinical lead.
Working hours- 9am to 5pm- Monday to Friday, Fixed Term 12 Months
We also have a part time fixed term post available for 12 months.
Undertake number of clinical services depend upon service needed.
Undertake Minor Oral Surgery procedures independently under LA/ LA & IV sedation/ GA- mostly Dentoalveolar and soft tissue surgery.
Training and teaching other SHOs/ Juniors Doctors and Medical Students.

Excellent team-working skills
Post holder undertake to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues.
Additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
Contribute to training and teaching of DCT doctors, medical students etc.
Participate audits within the department.
Weekly timetable can be adjusted considering the experience of the successful candidate and the need of the service.
Carry out appropriate administrative duties in support of clinical commitements.
