Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 14,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin. Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.

None of it would be possible without the help and generosity of the public. We are looking for Supporter Services Agent to deliver a high level of customer care to our supporters, ensuring that all communication is addressed promptly and to required standards.

Supporter Services is part of the Donor Management Team which sits within the Marketing Department and currently consisting of five members of staff. We help nurture, develop and recruit Dogs Trust supporters via telephone, post or e-mail. Our aim is to deliver the highest level of supporter care, whilst mirroring the core values of Dogs Trust.

Apart from handling all the queries, you will be processing donations using our internal systems ensuring that all information is recorded on the relevant database, respecting the confidentiality of personal data. Acting as a Dogs Trust ambassador you will keep up to date in knowledge and understanding of all Dogs Trust work, this might involve liaising with other departments where necessary to address supporter queries. At the same time integrating our core values, mission and brand into all your communication.

A confident communicator you will have an excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport with our supporter. A team player you will have good problem-solving skills and an excellent eye for details. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge are essential while some knowledge of databases is desirable.
