We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Supported Living Support Worker to join our team here at iBC Healthcare within our Supported Living Service in the Birmingham B29, B73, B38 areas on days and nights.
Role 1: This specific role is caring for a female with learning disabilities and autism, she needs confident support workers to help her access the community.
Role 2: This specific role is caring for a male with learning disabilities and autism who loves nothing more than the outdoors and being on a trampoline and playing with space hoppers. This role would suit someone with a bubbly personality who is resilient.
Role 3: This role is working with a female with learning disabilities and autism, she enjoys going to the gym with her support staff.
- Contract: Full-Time role.
- Hours: 36 - 48 hours a week.
- Pay: £11 per hour.

Who is iBC Healthcare

Our ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 1 years experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and complex behaivours, ideally in a support worker role or similar
- A UK Driving liscence would be beneficial
- Proactive person who can use your own decision making
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Good Attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Empathetic to people and kind
- Good communication skills
- A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs and challenging behavior within a supported living environment
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
