Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living tasks.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility issues to move around their home or facility
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by the client's MAR charts.
- Prepare meals and assist with household tasks and duties.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
- Accompany clients to appointments or social events
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills
