Support Workers - Full - time
Location: Ilford, Essex
Choice Support is recruiting for Support Workers to support vulnerable adults with a confirmed diagnosis of Autism and learning difficulty care needs. This is 24 hours care support service catering to four residents living in a registered care home in North London.
We are looking for staff who can work independently and as part of a team. The people we support require support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and so we are looking for staff who are flexible and can work various shifts. These may be early, late, night and sleep-ins. You may also be required to work some weekends.
You should have experience working in a care setting and you will need to demonstrate a and friendly manner and positive attitude, to be kind and respectful, patient, work in a person-centred way and understand the needs of individuals with learning difficulties.
You will be able to think outside of the box, and be proactive in your approach, have excellent organisational skills, be a strong team player, good communication both verbal and written, and possess a desire to learn and undertake training and development.
Driving is Desirable.
Choice Support will train and support you to enable you to work with the people we support), be part of an exciting and well-established charity with excellent and on-going in-house training programmes and mentoring. If you have not completed a required care certificate then you will be expected to do so.
