Support Worker
Various roles: full time and part time, day and night shifts
Location: Derby and Burton-on-Trent
Wages: £10 – £11.00 per hour
We are seeking four team members to join our dynamic support crew to provide support, advice and guidance to vulnerable people living in our accommodations or their own home. Our Service Users will need your help to navigate through the complexities of day-to-day life, including providing emotional and practical support to clients, depending on their needs.
This rewarding role will help our Service Users to manage their living areas, support to manage mental health, learning disabilities, engage in employment activities, recreational activities, coaching, training and any other issues they may need help with.

Essential skills needed to work in Support at Right Care
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve and plan your day to maximise time
- Ability to drive and have access to a car, depending on the role
- Ability to work in a team
Service Delivery Responsibility
a) To provide support, assist and supervise vulnerable clients in accordance with best practice at home and accessing the community
b) Develop and implement individual Support Plans and carry out regular reviews
c) To support and enable service users to maintain skills and personal interest whilst delivering person-centred care to their needs
d) Ensure Service Users are informed and, where necessary assisted, to access appropriate welfare benefits, health care and other support services, participating in a multi-agency approach as necessary
e) Maintain a high standard of record keeping and ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are adhered to
f) Carry out necessary Health and Safety checks in accommodation and room check
g) Take responsibility for safeguarding clients through adherence to the organisation’s safeguarding policy and procedures
h) Report repairs, renewals, health and safety concerns etc. to appropriate colleagues in a timely manner
i) Ensure that client confidentiality is maintained in accordance with organisational policy and the law, liaising with senior colleagues as necessary
Job schedule:
- Day shift, evening shift and night shifts available
- Part-time and full-time 7days a week
