Salary: £25,500.80 per year rising to £26,308.88 (based on 37 hours and one sleep per week) or £29,395.08 rising to £30,203.16 (based on 37 hours and two sleeps per week)

Part-time example: £16,157.44 per year rising to £16,616.08 (based on 21 hours per week plus 1 sleep)

Plus: 45p per mile and up to 1 hour travel time paid.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker in our Nuneaton Supported Living Service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting people with everyday tasks such as cleaning, shopping, food preparation, cooking and budgeting.
  • Supporting people to meet up with friends and family and maintain relationships.
  • Supporting people to pursue leisure activities in their local area.
  • Supporting people to meet their personal care and eating and drinking needs.
  • Supporting people to arrange health appointments, attend health appointments and to administer medication.

Job role requirements:

  • No previous experience is necessary as full training and induction will be given.
  • A car that you can use for work with business insurance.
  • To be able to work a range of hours/ shifts that will include daytimes, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts. Hours of work are provided via a rota at least three weeks in advance.
  • Working 3 weekends out of 4 if full time.
  • Candidates must be willing to work in Nuneaton and surrounding areas.
