Job description

We're recruiting dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Workers to join our Clinical Services Team to provide care to our clinical clients in and around the North Lanarkshire area.

We are currently recruiting experienced clinical carers to join our team. In addition we provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Clinical Carer within the Clinical Services Team.

We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

We believe that homecare is a way of improving people's lives and within your role as a Clinical Carer you will be responsible for helping them to continue living the life they prefer to lead within their own home environment.

Clinical tasks may include: (Dependant on client)

  • Catheter Care
  • Epilepsy Management
  • Gastrostomy Care
  • Enteral feeding and medication administration
  • Medication Management
  • Nebuliser and or Oxygen Management
  • Naso-gastric Care
  • Invasive and non- invasive ventilation
  • Oxygen/Saturation Monitoring
  • Spinal Injury Care
  • Tracheostomy care

In Scotland, all care staff are required to register with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and ensure they maintain their annual renewals, the regulators for the social service workforce in Scotland. You must also work towards achieving your SVQ Level 2 qualification. Cera fund your qualification but there is a £55 SVQ registration fee to be paid by the employee.

Requirements:

  • Before you join Cera, we will need to complete a compliance checklist including a DBS check and evidence of the right to work in the UK.
