For our Support Worker roles we offer **£10.90 - £11.20 **per hour.

Care experience is NOT necessary, we can work with colleagues over the age of 18’s.

What is involved?

  • Support individuals in a training centre to engage and develop social and independent skills, following a person-centred programs.
  • Support required both within the day centre and community.
  • Support individuals with aspects of personal care.
  • Undertaking domestic tasks to ensure the service maintains a high level of cleanliness.
  • Completing shift records and paperwork and ensure a robust handover.
  • Attend team meetings, supervisions and appraisals and actively take a role in developing own continuous professional development.
  • Shift Pattern: 8hr shifts - you may also be required to support with our residential services

Getting creative

Our approach is all about activities and co-production with the people we support. It might be cooking one day and gardening the next. Or creating some art or listening to music. We like to get out and about too– with movie nights at the cinema, food outings, or shopping and a coffee. There are sports fans who you’d take to bowling or to watch a team.

There is of course practical support too and helping people to reach their goals in smaller ways. You’d manage medication, shopping, health needs and hygiene as well as keep things tidy and safe.
