Job description
We have upgraded all of our pay rates and are in the process of making lots of new and innovative changes to the way we pay and recompense our staff - new rates have commenced from 1st April so if you want to know more then talk to us now. It is all good news and will bring lots of benefits to our care professionals, and a new security to those who work within the profession.
Home Instead are one of the UK's leading providers of care assistants and support workers for the elderly with over 250+ offices nationwide, providing over 1,000,000 hours of care last year. We have a highly successful team of care professionals who visit our clients in their own homes, offering support and assistance where needed.
We are now looking for people who reside in Welwyn & Hatfield, Borehamwood & Potters Bar or thereabouts, to join our wonderful team of Healthcare Support Workers & Care Assistants.
We are recruiting new people who are seeking a career in Adult Care, to work in the community with people in their own homes, and who feel they have the right qualities to become one of our very special and supportive team members.
We do require that you have a car - this is essential to enable you to travel between clients each day. We also require you to be able to work your standard hours on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends.
"We also have opportunities to provide Live-In Care and are about to build a team of highly skilled 'super Carers' with previous Adult Care expertise to work within the same locations, you can be based anywhere in the UK and a car is not essential for this specific role. To provide assistance on a 'short-term' basis. I am happy to have a discussion with interested people."
These roles are UK based and the 'Right To Work in the UK' will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact us and I promise someone will contact you either the same day or the next working day from receipt of your application - no hanging around with us.
Our strength lies in our ability to work with elderly clients in their own homes and to provide every aspect of care that is needed to keep them healthy and happy. This includes personal care, ensuring they are up, clean and dressed each day, light housework duties, and of course companionship care.
If you have experience of working in adult care then that is wonderful, we will hone your skills and talents and ensure you work at the highest level, providing a service that is second to none.
We are also interested in people who are inexperienced but like the idea of starting a career that will always be in demand, and who are excited by working in the fastest growing service industry world-wide.
