We are currently recruiting for a FULL & PART TIME SUPPORT WORKER to work with a young gentleman who has a spinal cord injury living in his own home in the West Kingsdown area of Sevenoaks in Kent. Our client has a keen interest in trainers and the latest fashion in clothes, he is also interested in football and horse racing. This could be the ideal role for anyone with similar interests.
Previous experience working with Spinal Cord Injury clients would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
Support Worker Duties:
You will be working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis.
You will be working on a 2:1 basis with our client to ensure his complex personal care and welfare needs are met.
You must have an enthusiastic personality and positive outlook on life, a caring attitude with the flexibility to work shifts as part of a team on a day & night basis.
Hours of Work:
Part time hours - 96 hours per month
Full time hours - 144 hours per month
Day shift 8am - 10pm
Night shift 10pm - 8am (Waking & Sleeping nights)
Monday to Sunday (On a rota basis)
Rates of Pay:
£14.50 per hour – Day shift (Monday-Friday) (7pm - 10pm paid at waking night rate) upon successful completion of competencies and training
£15.50 per hour – Day shift (Saturday-Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£16.50 per hour – Waking night shift (Monday-Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£17.50 per hour – Waking night shift (Saturday-Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£10.00 per hour - Sleeping night shift (Monday - Sunday) (10pm to 11pm Waking night rate applies)
£11.00 per hour – Training rate
