Looking for confident experienced Support Workers to offically start on the 03 04.23. ***But please note training days are the 13th, 15th and 16th of March and shadowing shifts will be week commencing 20th so must be available for this*** Interviews will be taking place on the 07.03.23 and the 09.03.23.
This position will be supporting a young gentlemen who has Learning disabilities, Austim and ADHD. He requires 2:1 care 24hours a day, he has 14hour day shifts and 10hour sleep ins. He lives alone in his own adapted bungalow, no mobility issues. Needs support with all daily tasks and identifying hazards for his own personal safety. Will display challenging behaviour when anxious and upset, he can also become destructive to.
Enjoys anything circus themed, playing with toys, seeing mum and dad, going to bultins. Needs consistent staff and routine to build up a good trusting relationship and set boundaries to improve behaviour.

Requires assistance with the following;
Cooking, eating, drinking, medication.
Emotional support and wellbeing.
Personal care, dressing.
Companionship and engagement.
Keeping home safe, clean and hazard free.
What we require:
Minimum of two years experience in Learning disabilities.
Rolling two week rota commitment (please see rota below).
Minimum of one year experience with challenging behaviour.
Fast and responsive communication and good team work.
Urgent start date of potentially 13.03.2023

TWO WEEK ROLLING ROTA:
Week One:
Monday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Wednesday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Saturday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Sunday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Week Two:
Tuesday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Thursday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
Friday - 24hour shift (14hour day & 10hour sleep) - 9am start
