Role: Support Worker
Based: Coventry
Rate: £14 umb
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp possible permanent position
Hours: 40 hours - You will work 8am - 5pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am - 7pm Thursday and Friday and 7am - 4pm Saturday
Our client, a well-respected charity, provides support to improve the lives of families and people using their services by delivering a high quality and responsive support worker service to ensure a safe sound and supportive environment in conjunction with support workers and the service manager
Synopsis of duties:
· Supporting a caseload of clients that are homeless/rough sleepers
· Experience of completing Needs and Risk Assessments, Support Plans, and knowledge of working within victims of abuse
Essential Requirements:
· Proven track record of supporting vulnerable young people and/ or adults either within an accommodation or community-based service. Preferred experience of working with addictions, substance misuse, homelessness or mental health
· Strong safeguarding and risk assessments skills and experience
· Proven track record of successfully carrying and managing your own caseload
· Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months and/ or registered on the DBS Update Service
