The role holder will business partner the COO and will lead all aspects of the financials including planning and reporting, alongside driving the transformation plans for Digital.
The role holder will play a key role in preparing business case proposals for investments that drive change and enhancements across the business, and supporting the COO leadership team with insightful financial analysis to bolster strategic decision making.
What you’ll be doing
- End to end responsibility for COO financials including planning and forecasting, tracking financial reporting month end activities
- Lead financial relationship holder and commercial lead into Director Level
- Support in the driving of the COO transformation roadmap
- Work with HR and operational counterparts to bring financial acumen into the business cases, and ensure ideas and learning is share across programmes and Units
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Digital financial and operational communities
- Support all COO members in delivery of best value for money commercial arrangements and support all financial ad hoc queries
The skills you’ll need
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven ability to influence and build key relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and create business models
- Data-led approach to solving complex problems and driving insight
- Experience of financial management and delivery of improved financial performance
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
