Founded in 1998 – 23 years on, Ryan Q C Homes LTD. has evolved into a dynamic care organisation, which supports a diverse range of individuals, with varying needs and abilities.
Currently supporting 44 individuals across twelve properties, Ryan Q C Homes LTD. is considered to be one of Northamptonshire’s leading care and support providers.
Be a Critical Key Worker within Northamptonshire's leading care provider - supporting adults with learning disabilities - from 18 years+
No experience necessary - full training for the position provided
P/T and F/T Positions available. Sleep-in duties also required as additional to contracted hours.
We currently support 45 residents across our 12 residential and supported living homes within Northampton - NN3 & NN2 area. (3-6 bedded houses)
Purpose of Role
To provide care and support to adults aged 18+ with moderate to severe learning and/or physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all of the Residents needs are met to the highest possible standard and in line with their care plans and current legislation.
- Monitoring the maintenance of the Home and observing the health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Managing budgets, keeping accurate records of the Resident’s finances and handling their monies in a responsible and considerate manner.
- Reporting and recording significant incidents/events to relevant personnel and/or agencies.
- Communicating at all levels with all relevant parties to ensure the smooth running of the Home and business and to ensure the Residents’ needs are handed over effectively.
- Correct storage and administration of medication.
- Ensuring confidentiality of the Residents, staff teams and the Company, in accordance with the Data Protection Act at all times.
- Safeguarding the Residents
- Always treat Residents with the utmost respect and ensure that their rights are observed at all times.
- Promote Residents’ independence by enabling them to achieve within their capabilities.
Duties will include
- Personal care
- Moving and handling Residents
- Taking Residents out on activities
- General housekeeping
- Preparing food and beverages
- General administration
- Undertaking Sleep-in duties as required - Sleep in duty eg. 10pm-8am paid at £5.50ph rate
- Completing all tasks set by a Team Leader or Senior Management
Training
- Participate fully in the company induction and training programme.
- Undertake mandatory qualifications, recognized nationally and as required by current legislation.
