We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment, helping clients with daily tasks, and assisting with activities of daily living. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of disability support and a commitment to helping others reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to clients.
- Assist clients in developing and achieving their goals.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and interactions.
- Assist clients in accessing community services and resources.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Be aware of relevant legislation and policies that affect the client's rights and responsibilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 36 per week
Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
